Health & Memory Care

A radical departure from the traditional health care model, Golden Years Homestead is proud to be a pioneer for our innovative "neighborhood style" health care community. What does this mean for our residents? It means that our residents feel like they are part of a family, sharing a living and dining space, as well as the same nursing staff day after day. Our residents create relationships with their "neighbors" and our staff is able to provide consistent, higher quality care. Compared to that of traditional nursing home design with large common areas and different nurses coming in and out, you'll quickly see how our design creates long lasting (and comforting) relationships that don't make your loved ones feel like just a number.

Why is "consistent staffing" important?

Golden Years provides "consistent staffing" to every resident. Why is this important? This means that the same people will take care of you and your loved one day in and day out. This is important in building strong relationships and ensuring a higher quality of integrated care.

Health Care

The nursing facility is dedicated to providing 24-hour nursing care and supervision, three balanced meals, housekeeping, personal laundry and linen services, a therapeutic activity program, as well as other supportive services. Our unique architectural design enhances socialization, preserves privacy and is ideal for person-centered care. All of this with the goal of making life better for our residents. Most suites (not rooms) are private accommodations with home-like amenities such as carpet, windows with blinds, and private bathroom with walk in shower.
